Welcome fellow person to my room.The dark blue and green walls of my bedroom make me feel safe.My cuddly bed is waiting for me to sleep in.My bookcase is screwed on the wall tightly with many books waiting for me to read.Also very shiny gems are swaying in the wind slowly on the left when the window is open.My cuddly bed is in the corner on the right.I just moved my bed because I wanted a change around because I was bored of how it was.My cat Miny likes hiding in my warm dark wardrobe with all my cuddly toys.Sometimes she  goes up in the roof to hide. She started doing this to get away from the mean cats in the neighbourhood.My lovely bedroom makes me feel calm safe and warm because it is silent. By Jack M. (T20)

Once you walk through the door In my bedroom you can see a green curtain.When you open  it you can feel the fresh air and when It's night time I go to sleep on my bouncy bed that is waiting for me to lie on  and go to sleep.Above me I can see a glowing star sparkling all night and beside   me I have a fluffy teddy who sits on my bed all day. Some times I play with my green guitar  leaning on my wall. When I go to the school in my wardrobe I have a lovely,colourful clothes neat and tidy.I keep it really tidy and some times my mom does it. I have a hearth rug lying on the floor and its really soft too. I feel really welcome because the rug has my name on it. By Olivia T20

Today we had an earthquake drill at Halswell School! We know to crouch cover and hold just like a turtle. We all knew exactly what to do.
