Outside the Monster Box!

 This week in Ōrongomai, we have opened up more boxes to expand on our Monsterbox Learning. 

Music Box 

Tōtara have opened a music box and have begun to explore how sound and music is made. We have also been listening to live and recorded music to expand our knowledge of different musical genres. 

Inventor's Box

Kereru have discovered inventor's boxes this week. They have been planning and developing models of machines.

Lock Box 

Kāhu have been racing against the clock and using their problem solving skills to work together to open a lock box. Soon they will be collaborating in teams to plan and create their own lock boxes for others to try!
