Happenings in Ōrongomai over the last few weeks

It's been another busy few weeks in Ōrongomai as we prepare for our part in the school production, Reboot. As well as getting ready for the production we have continued exploring all things tooth related. We have also been learning about rhyme and writing our own raps. It's been a lot of fun thinking of ways to use our names in raps to tell a story and to tell stories about what the tooth fairy does when they come to visit!
We have put together a video to show everyone some of this learning.

In week 5 we lead a combined assembly with Ōtumatua. During the assembly we did a performance of George Ezra's Shot Gun in New Zealand Sign Language to celebrate New Zealand Sign Language Week.  We created a video of us signing the song, check it out!
